We meet at 6.45pm Friday 7th December at Our Den, The Ranch, Lennon Melia Terrace and we will return at 12 Midday Sunday 9th December.

We will travel by bus to Orchard Cottage, Co Cavan. We will be sleeping indoor but spending the rest of our time outdoors so please pay attention to the gear list and ensure you have warm layers, hat, gloves, raingear and waterproof footwear (hiking boots or wellies).

Please pack all gear into one large rucksack, nothing hanging outside. You may take a small day rucksack also but must be able to carry all your gear yourself in one go!

Buíon Setanta Scout Section are planning to attend Charnwood Jamboree 2019.

What is Charnwood?

Charnwood is an International Scout and Guide Camp organised by Leicestershire Scouts and Girlguiding Leicestershire and we are pleased to say that Charnwood will be returning in 2019 over the week 27th July – 3rd August 2019 at Cattows Farm, Leicestershire. This will be the 9th Charnwood ever held.

Once again, it will be an amazing camp full of fun and friendship, so come and join us here in Leicestershire.

Scouts and Guides aged 10 to 14 will be camping in sub-camps and we will have a whole range of exciting activities planned for them to enjoy.
