This site is primarily used to communicate up to date information to both our scouts and their parents. It also serves as a media centre for our group. You can follow the news stories by email or by using Twitter. Also, be sure to check the photo gallery to see some moments from our past exploits!

Camp North East, 3rd to 6th May 2024, Porlick campsite, Co Westmeath

  • Meet at the den at 4.30 pm on Friday. 
  • Wear full uniform.
  • Eat before you leave home.
  • Bring pot noodle (or similar) for tea on Friday.
  • We are the purple sub-camp – bring purple clothes/accessories (Maire has offered some purple t-shirts; let me know if you want one of these)
  • Pick up Monday from the den at 4 pm (will update on Monday)

Travel in full uniform

  1. Sleeping Bag
  2. Bivvi Bag (ORANGE SURVIVAL BAG)
  3. Sleeping Mat and camping pillow
  4. Raincoat with Hood
  5. Waterproof Trousers
  6. Spare trousers
  7. Warm Hoodie / Jumper / Fleece
  8. T-Shirts x2
  9. Underwear (extra Socks) and tracksuit for sleeping

  12. The Mess Kit (plate, bowl, cup, bottle, knife, fork, spoon, and tea towel) is all labelled, and it can be made of plastic or metal.

  15. Personal first aid kit (small container with plasters, antiseptic, etc.)
  16. Wash kit & small Towel or face cloth

  18. Marvel Costume for Saturday Night
